Meghan Markle’s Columbia Trip May Show That Her & Victoria Beckham’s Alleged Feud Is Over
A rather surprising wrinkle just occurred in the alleged Meghan Markle versus Victoria Beckham feud. Despite being pals and then suddenly battling over a reported dressing issue, many thought it was over. However, during Meghan and her husband Prince Harry’s trip to Colombia, eagle-eyed fans noticed Meghan wore a piece from Beckham’s clothing brand.
During their four-day visit to Colombia, Meghan talked about online safety during a “Responsible Digital Future” event. For the event, she donned a brown silk Victoria Beckham shirt! You can see the photo below:
Now, not only is this a stylish look, but it may show she and Beckham are on good terms. Something else to note, though, is that this shirt is actually a rewear! Per WhatMeghanWore, Meghan originally donned this top, which retails for around $770, back in 2020 for the first-ever TIME100 TV special.
For those who don’t know, according to The House of Beckham: Money, S— and Power author Tom Bower, the initial strain between Meghan and Victoria began over a request Meghan made for some free items from Beckham’s fashion line. Markle allegedly wanted “free handbags from Victoria Beckham before snubbing her,” per The Independent.
Their friendship was alleged to be “purely transactional,” and earlier this summer, insiders told Closer Online that both the Beckhams have disapproved of how Meghan and Harry have acted in recent years.
