Prince Harry’s plan sets in motion a bizarre scheme with his former aides to get closer to King Charles and William
Prince Harry is reportedly planning to get close to the King Since the Duke of Sussex made the call, when his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II sat the throne, relations have collapsed between himself, his father and his older brother Prince William – especially since 2021.
But 2024 saw a change to the script when King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, which seemed to drive home the mortality of the 75-year-old for both father and son and they’ve both mentioned a desire to reconcile, and now Prince Harry seems to be moving forwards with that.
“Harry is turning away from all sorts of Hollywood publicists,” a source told DailyMail.com. “And is seeking counsel from his old friends and associates.
“He is clearly reaching out thinking, ‘I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working.’
“In short, he is rethinking the way he operates.”
The news comes one month after the Duke’s Chief of Staff, Josh Kettler, quit barely three months into the role.
The news came after he already lost his Head of Communications, Christine Weil Schirmer, who moved to Brunswick, after she had partnered with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since 2020 in a big blow.
As a result, he’s now turning to advisers he knew from when he was involved with the British Royal Family and has began finding the services of one known for loyalty, discretion and for his old school way of thinking.
Can Prince Harry do it?
It’s a big task for Prince Harry ahead too as he not only needs to impress King Charles III but other influential voices such as the Queen-Consort, Prince William who is the heir and Kate Middleton, who will become Queen-Consort in the future too.
All of these people are unimpressed with the conduct of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their very public split from the family where they revealed intimate, behind-closed-doors details in their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview as well as the Duke’s 2023 memoir, Spare.
