In December 2022, professional golfer Jordan Spieth and his family hosted fellow golfer Tom Kim for Christmas dinner at their home in Dallas. Kim, who had recently moved to Dallas and was without his family during the holidays, accepted Spieth’s invitation and joined the festivities. During the gathering, Kim bonded with Spieth’s then 14-month-old son, Sammy, and even took on some babysitting duties. Spieth humorously noted that Kim, known for his hearty appetite, went back for multiple servings during the meal.
This gesture highlighted the camaraderie among professional golfers and the welcoming nature of the Spieth family. The two golfers, who share the same swing coach and hometown, have since developed a closer friendship, both on and off the course.
