Inside Serena Williams’ luxurious houses after sister Venus ‘disinvites’ her from her own
Tennis legend and sporting icon Serena Williams retired from the game in September 2022 to prioritise her family life, but did so with a whopping 39 titles to her name. Thankfully she has some beautiful properties to display her honours in across North America and Europe, but she’s not welcome at one property owned by sister Venus.
The former Tennis star used to live with sister Venus in Palm Beach, a 8,489 square foot property that was purchased for just £500,000 back in 1998. The pair lived together throughout the majority of their tennis careers, bringing all sorts of success back to the luxury mansion.
But it was sold for around £2.1million in 2021, and now Serena lives with husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian along with their five-year-old daughter named Olympia. Their daughter has been raised across both Florida and Los Angeles, and the houses are stunning.
Williams’ main residence is thought to be in Beverly Hills after she spent £5.1m on a mansion in a private gated community. The beautiful home is said to be 6,000-square-foot, and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Their spacious kitchen overlooks a lower level, which boasts a walk-in wine cellar along with a bar. But to keep fit Williams and her family can relax in their swimming pool while the sun is out in LA.
When the Williams family feel like a getaway to the east coast, they can simply rock up to her £2m home in Palm Beach Gardens which sits on 1.25 acres of land. It was where Williams reportedly raised her daughter at the property during the early years, and used the home as a retreat to get away from LA.
