Take a Look Back at Nelly Korda’s Three The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Victories

BELLEAIR, Fla. — Nelly Korda won her third career The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican title on Sunday in Belleair, Fla., becoming the first player since Jin Young Ko at the 2023 Cognizant Founders Cup to win three times at a single LPGA Tour event. She took home the 2021 edition of the tournament, successfully defended her title in 2022 and then captured the 2024 ANNIKA after defeating Charley Hull, Jin Hee Im and Weiwei Zhang by three shots at Pelican Golf Club.

Take a look back at all three of Korda’s victories at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican:

Korda won for the first time at Pelican Golf Club in 2021 in rather dramatic fashion at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. She had triple-bogeyed the 17th hole before making a birdie on the par-4 18th hole to post a 72-hole total of 17-under in regulation, a score that was also recorded by Sei Young Kim, Lydia Ko and Lexi Thompson, sending the foursome to a playoff to decide the winner. Ultimately, only one extra hole was needed to crown Korda the champion, as the Florida native buried her 20-foot-plus putt for birdie on the first extra hole to collect her seventh career LPGA Tour title.

A year later, Korda found success once again at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. The event was shortened to 54 holes because of Tropical Storm Nicole, but three rounds was all Korda needed to claim her eighth career victory, a win that saw her fire a final-round 64 to defeat Lexi Thompson by one shot in Belleair, Fla.
