The Russian beauty suffered her 17th consecutive defeat by Serena Willliams in the semi-final at this year’s competition just last week.

However the 28-year-old appeared to have shrugged off the blues as she relaxed with a female friend on the popular King beach on Montenegro’s St Stephen’s Island over the weekend.

The Grand Slam winner and Olympic medalist showed off her tennis-honed physique in a simple two-piece, with the straps on her bikini top pulled down to avoid tan lines.

The leggy star, known for her loud grunts on court, sensibly wore a glamourous hat to protect her from the dazzling sun.
