Andy Murray revealed the secret revenge mission he is on to “sabotage” Novak Djokovic in a hilarious first interview the pair gave since teaming up. Andy Murray joked that he is planning to “sabotage” Novak Djokovic’s chances of claiming an 11th Australian Open title and 25th Grand Slam as revenge for the heartache the Serbian caused him in Melbourne over the years.

The pair met five times at the Australian Open – four finals and one semi-final – with Djokovic winning each encounter, but Murray will now be in his former rival’s corner after being hired as a coach by the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

After Djokovic defeated Alexander Zverev in the first match of the night, Murray arrived on the Rod Laver Arena court and reminisced about his memories of playing in the Australian Open.
“Yeah, played here a few times,” Murray said. “Could never quite go over the line unfortunately, this man was single-handedly responsible for that.
“So I’m now here to try and sabotage his chances of winning another one.”
It was a move that caught the world of tennis by surprise and the dynamic duo discussed it during ‘A Night with Novak’, a charity exhibition event featuring Djokovic, Murray and various other stars of the sport.
