Tiger Woods heartbreaking admission made by Donald Trump on flight to Super Bowl

Donald Trump has disclosed that Tiger Woods is “very sad over his mother’s passing” following a round of golf they shared on Sunday morning. The golf icon is mourning the death of his mother, Kultida Woods, who died at the age of 80 earlier in the week.

Despite his grief, Woods sought comfort in a game with the former U.S. president at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, joined by Woods’ son Charlie. Before Trump left for Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where he made history as the first sitting president to attend the NFL’s flagship event, he reflected on their time together and Woods’ emotional state.

In footage posted to X by the TWLegion account, Trump can be seen remarking: “He was great. He’s a great guy. He’s very sad over his Mother’s passing. He’s a great guy.”

Woods’ trip to Palm Beach wasn’t just for relaxation. As co-founder of TGL, he also engaged in ongoing talks about a possible merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, signalling a critical juncture for men’s professional golf. Since the unexpected framework agreement was announced in June 2023, negotiations have continued without reaching a final agreement, leaving the future of the golf landscape uncertain and LIV players still barred from PGA Tour events.
