US Open star risks massive fine for ‘destroying locker room’ as rival weighs in

Former US Open champion Wyndham Clark has been blasted on social media for allegedly destroying multiple lockers in an angry outburst during this weekend’s major. Clark endured a tournament to forget at Oakmont, missing the cut by just one shot on Friday after posting an aggregate score of eight over par.

The American triumphed on the famous Pittsburgh course two years ago but is now under fire and accused of inflicting damage to the locker room. On X (formerly Twitter), No Laying Up’s Tron Carter shared an image that appeared to show Clark’s bag next to some smashed-up lockers. The report hasn’t yet been confirmed, but Carter convincingly pointed the finger at Clark for his fury-fuelled actions.

Alongside the photo, he wrote: “Multiple sources confirming that the Blow Pig really got after it in the Oakmont locker room.

“Super classy, desecrating one of the most historic spots in golf AND on the heels of his behaviour at Quail Hollow. Probably time to put him in the cooler for a few months.”
