Vanessa Trump Kept Romance With Tiger Woods Quiet — But There Were Signs
On Thursday, March 13, news broke that golfer Tiger Woods has been quietly dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. Since then, the internet has been filled with stories about the budding romance, which reportedly began sometime in October.
As it turns out, Trump and Woods weren’t exactly hiding their relationship, even if they didn’t come out and say they were dating. For example, Trump follows Woods on Instagram and she also follows the Tiger Woods Center and a fan page for the famous golfer.
On February 4, Woods announced the death of his mother, Kutilda, on Instagram — and his girlfriend’s Instagram handle is amongst those that liked the post, showing Woods support during that difficult time.
Then, Trump arrived at The Genesis Invitational with Woods in mid-February — and there are photos of them together — but no one really batted an eye at the time.
As for why Woods and Trump haven’t taken things public, a source tells Page Six that they wanted to be “careful” in the early stages.
Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that Trump and Woods appear to be a good match.
“They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents,” the insider said.
Trump was married to Trump Jr. from 2005 through 2018 and the former couple has five kids together. Woods has two kids with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, whom he married in 2004. The two split in 2010.
