Tiger Woods’ inner circle has raised fears over his new relationship with Vanessa Trump, it has been claimed.
The 15-time major winner hard-launched his relationship with Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law last month, ending ongoing speculation regarding the pair. It was suggested Woods was forced to upload the post, which Ivanka Trump commented on, to end the ongoing rumors surrounding the pair.
In an Instagram post showing the pair cozied up, he posted: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.” The President was later quizzed on the matter and revealed Woods had called him to break the news. He also voiced his support for the pair.
Since the announcement, the couple have laid low with Woods not even attending the opening night of the TGL Finals – his own competition. But Woods is also sidelined with an Achilles injury and missing the 89th Masters. He cruelly joked he had healed and was making a return at Augusta – though this turned out to be nothing more than an April Fool’s joke.
Now, as the week of the tournament begins, it has emerged that Woods’s closest friends have reservations about the high-profile relationship. According to RadarOnline, the 49-year-old is not in the best of places and his buddies fear Vanessa’s extrovert personality could be a problem.
“Tiger is in a very vulnerable state right now,” an insider told the publication. “The last few years have been incredibly tough. And Vanessa’s a real dynamo. She lives a very fast-paced lifestyle and there are concerns he won’t be able to keep up with her.
