Judy Murray left amused after Andy Murray agrees to coach Novak Djokovic at Australian Open

Judy Murray was left amused by a joke from Novak Djokovic after the Serb revealed Andy Murray would be his coach for the 2025 Australian Open.

Murray retired from tennis earlier in the year, having played doubles with Dan Evans at the Paris Olympics.

But he doesn’t seem content to just sit around and enjoy his time away from the sport, with the former world No 1 set to coach Djokovic at the Australian Open.

Djokovic confirmed his decision on Saturday, saying in an Instagram video: “We played each other since we were boys. 25 years of being rivals. Of pushing each other beyond our limits.

“We had some of the most epic battles in our sports. They called us game changers, risk takers, and history makers.

“I thought our story maybe over, turns out it has one final chapter.

“It’s time for one of my toughest opponents to step into my corner. Welcome on-board coach Andy Murray.”
