Lydia Ko’s Touching Moment With Billionaire Husband Grabs Jessica Korda and the Golf World’s Attention: ‘Rockstar Couple’
Lydia Ko is among one of the most successful golfers when it comes to women’s golf. While her hard work is one of the strongest forces behind her success, she also credits her immensely supportive husband. At the AIG Women’s British Open, Lydia Ko ended her second round with a 3-under-par total. After her round, the 27-year-old was asked about her husband, who was at the Old Course in St. Andrews to show his support.
Ko shared how Chung was also playing at Dumbarnie Links and had braved the rain at Kingsbarns on Monday. She expressed her gratitude that he could experience these moments with her and acknowledge the sacrifices made for her career.
“I feel bad because he had to wake up at 4:00 a.m. with me this morning. Even though I’m always supportive of his work, I probably wouldn’t wake up at 4:00 a.m. for him,” Ko said in the press conference. “I’m really thankful that he’s taking a step back to be here with me, and I know it’s not easy. I’m happy he’s getting to enjoy it.”
She started dating the billionaire in 2021, and they got engaged in June 2022. A few months later, they promised to be forever on December 30, 2022. It has already been two years of a beautiful ride for them, and they recently celebrated their anniversary.
